Soeul Craft Handle series - Soft circles Brass Cup

Her handle series explores the concept that everyone wants something they don't have and wanting to create a new 'thing' that nobody has yet. So, for a simple functional object such as a cup, depending on what kind of handle craftsman places on a object, it can become a new object to be desired. So the artist started to explore different handle shapes that makes the user to hold the object differently.

Artist Aeyong Kim's handle series explores the concept that everyone wants something they don't have and wanting to create a new 'thing' that nobody has yet. So for a simple functional object such as a cup, depending on what handles craftsman places for a handle, it can become a new object. So she started to explore different handle shapes that makes the user to hold the object differently with two hands.

This soft circles brass cup can hold your desk objects, dry flowers, or any other things you would like display. Or just nothing at all.  It can pair with Brass dust bins and hand brushes by Soeul.

The imperfection of silver soldering is intentionally exposed on these pieces. Please enjoy them as unique characters. Brass aging is also a natural process and it will give an another sense of time as it ages.
